Oregon’s Nonprofits at 250

On July 4, 2026, the United States of America will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

This historic milestone is opportunity like none other to pause and reflect on our nation’s beginnings, our history ever since, honor the lives and stories of all Americans, and look ahead towards the future we want to create.

Today, for the leadership of 2 million nonprofit associations and societies across 50 states, 1 federal district and 5 territories, this undeniable chance to celebrate the past and prepare for the future now has a place, a way, and a reason to express those thoughts.

Oregon250 is a contest, a timecapsule, a place for declaration.
